Birthday Dodgers Game
To celebrate Gavin’s birthday, the family and I went to see the Dodgers play. It was Jackie Robinson Day at the ballpark so that is why all the players were wearing number 42. After the game, Gavin got to go on the field and run the bases with hundreds of other little fans. The boys were exhausted by the time we started driving home but it was a day to remember.

Gavin and I decided to plant a garden this year. We planted cherry tomatoes, beef steak tomatoes, tomatillos, and 3 types of peppers. I hope the vegetables like the heat more than we did.

Hanging Out In Long Beach
The family and I took a stroll along the waterfront in Long Beach while we were waiting for the rest of the Loera Clan. We were all meeting up in Long Beach to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Sick Monkeys in a Basket
They boys have been sick with colds all weekend long. Not exactly how I would have chosen to spend a long weekend. They decided to sit in a basket together… not sure why. Maybe the fever made them insane?
