The 4 years my little ‘bub’ has been around have really flown by. Still, I can’t even remember what life was like without him. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Gavin Looses His Hair
Gavin really loved his long, beautiful hair. He was sure he would never cut it. Then he took a few walks in the Bakersfield heat. After realizing that long hair and heat don’t mix he decided it was time for a haircut.

Planting A Garden With Gavin
Gavin and I decided to plant a garden this year. We planted cherry tomatoes, beef steak tomatoes, tomatillos, and 3 types of peppers. I hope the vegetables like the heat more than we did.

We took the boys hiking in San Diego in San Clemente Canyon. I guess it is kinda urban hiking but on short notice it was the best we could do. It was close enough to a full on nature experience for the boys to enjoy.

Eddie’s 60th Birthday
We headed to Mando’s house in Highland to meet up with the San Diego Loera clan to celebrate Eddie’s 60th birthday. Along the way we had some delicious brews at Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in nearby Redlands. I highly recommend the double IPA… one of the best I have had the chance to enjoy.
