Gavin is almost a year old. I’ve collected several photos over the past year that I have not previously posted. It’s amazing how much he’s changed. Here are photos from his first 3 months.

Gavin loves to play in his gym. He recently learned how to grab his toys. (He just turned 2 months old.)

The start of our move to Bakersfield. Gavin was such a trooper during our trip. 3 days on the road would be long for anyone.

Of course, Gavin had more fun with the paper grass in the basket than with his new book or the rabbit his Grandma Toni and Grandpa Rick gave him. The things that make the most mess are always the most fun.

I can’t believe this year has gone by so fast. It seems like you were only a small baby for a brief moment and I’m afraid before we know it you will be all grown up. But, “Ma-ma” and “Da-da” are enjoying every minute with you.

Baby Bear, always remember your family, mother, and I love you with all our hearts! We are looking forward to all the adventures we get to spend together in the future. Thank you for blessing our lives with such joy.

Celebrating Gavin’s 1st birthday with the Loera clan and friends in San Diego.

Gavin loved all the animals except the pony. I think she was a little too ‘in your face’ for his taste. I’m sure he will warm up to her next time.

Everyday Gavin is walking better and better. It is only a matter of time until he will be joining The Ministry of Silly Walks.

Gavin asked to go see “quack quacks” which is how he refers to pretty much any bird-like animal. We managed to find a few geese, a duck, and a crow which hadn’t melted from the heat outside.

We spent a three day weekend in San Luis Obispo to show Gavin around our old stomping grounds. It is amazing how much they have built at Cal Poly since I last visited! We also visited Pismo, Avila, and Morro Bay… lots of walks on various piers for Gavin.
