Making new friends at the Zoo, such as the spurred tortoises, Mickey the umbrella cockatoo, anteater, gerenuk, and reindeer.

My little Bub is now a teenager. He spent his day among the animals at the Zoo, which we hadn’t visited since before the pandemic. Afterwards, we feasted on Gavin’s favorite Woodstock’s pizza.

The boys showed me the new Komodo Kingdom habitat, which I hadn’t seen yet. Then we walked around the southern side of the zoo, seeing some animals we hadn’t seen in a while.

A fun day at the zoo, visiting the animals and checking out the holiday decorations in the afternoon, then seeing them all lit up once the sun went down.

Along with visiting the grizzly brothers and our other animal friends, we watched a really cool acrobatics show. The contortionist was unbelievable! We finished our night out with a bubble dance party.

We started off the day watching Gavin play baseball, and then finished it by celebrating Halloween at the San Diego Zoo.

It was a beautiful day out to go visit the animals. We saw the new baby François’ langur, which start off bright orange before turning black as they grow up.
